This policy explains what personal information Carry Go Pay collects, why, and who we share it with.
1. Information we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, date of birth), identity verification data, beneficiary details you enter, transaction records, and technical data such as device and log information used to keep accounts secure.
2. Why we use it
To create and secure your account, verify your identity, process the transfers you request, meet legal and regulatory obligations, prevent fraud, and provide support.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information with the service providers who make Carry Go Pay work, including:
Youverify — identity verification (KYC). Flutterwave — payment collection. Verto — foreign exchange and payout.
These partners process data under their own terms and regulatory obligations. We also share information with authorities where required by law.
4. Data retention
We keep personal and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for any period afterwards required by anti-money-laundering and other applicable regulations.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal limits (for example, records we must retain for compliance).
6. Security
We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, rate limiting, and audit logging — to protect your information.
